I have spent most of my life on film and TV sets as a Production Sound Mixer, and one thing has always frustrated me: communication slows down because we’re stuck using systems that belong in another era. That’s why I started GodBell — to create tools that keep up with the pace and creativity of modern production.

My journey began at Bournemouth Film School and has taken me across major productions in the UK and beyond. Over the years, I’ve built and customised my own equipment just to meet the demands of location sound.  

I’m proud to be a Full Member of The Cinema Audio Society (C.A.S.) and The Association of Motion Picture Sound (A.M.P.S.), and along the way, my work has been recognised with industry awards.

All of that experience taught me what crews really need: reliability, simplicity, and innovation.  I know the pressure of set life, the importance of protecting performances, and how vital it is for tools to fit seamlessly into workflows.

The industry is moving faster than ever — tighter schedules, higher expectations — but communication systems haven’t kept up. 

GodBell changes that. It’s a wireless red light and bell system that’s intuitive, tough, and built for the realities of production. For me, GodBell isn’t just a product — it’s part of a bigger movement towards smarter, crew-focused technology.
